One-Shoulder Dress — Built-In Shapewear

One garment, two parts sewn together: the visible dress and the internal shaping layer. It is not a slip to put on and not a garment to wear underneath: it is already inside, and cannot be removed.

A one-shoulder dress has a well-known problem: the bra. Not needed here — the bodice supports on its own, and the shaping bodysuit is already sewn into the dress.

What it does

• Shaping bodysuit sewn in. It’s not something you slip on underneath: the inner layer holds the waist and hips and extends down the thigh, sewn into the same dress. Just one piece to wear, just one to wash.
• No bra. With one shoulder bare, you can’t wear a normal bra. The bodice takes care of it, and it doesn’t show from the outside.
• Use the bathroom without taking it off. The crotch opens: you don’t have to take off the dress or roll anything up.
• Edges that don’t roll up. The edge of the inner layer stays flat and doesn’t curl under the fabric.
• One-shoulder, side slit. One shoulder covered, one bare, a fitted line, and a slit at the hip for walking. With a jacket over the bare shoulder, it’s daytime; without one, it’s evening.

How it’s made

On the outside, a one-shoulder dress with a side slit. Inside, sewn into the same garment, a shaping bodysuit with short legs and an openable crotch. Black, sizes XS-3XL.

Size

Choose based on your measurements in centimeters — bust, waist, hips — not the size you usually wear: here, the inner shaping layer determines the fit. If you’re between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Care

• Hand wash, cold or lukewarm water, maximum 30°.
• No bleach.
• No tumble dryer.
• Dry flat, in the shade.
